Notes: This is a class 5 walk and takes you down a very steep scree slope with a touch of rock climbing as well, to the gorge floor.  You turn left and head down the gorge criss-crossing the small watercourse that runs through the gorge, jumping up on the smooth horizontal flat rocks to avoid getting your feet wet till you come to an amazing chasm which marks the end of the walk. The gorge floor walking is quite easy, getting in and out is the hard part.  We were there in the afternoon and were able to catch the wonderful colours of the rock as we wandered along.  An alternate short walk from the carpark takes you to the rim lookout from where you can see along and down into the gorge in both directions.  This gives you an idea of what is to come on the main walk. This is not one of Karijini's highlight walks but it should be!  We were there by ourselves and had a great time.    A worthwhile walk.
