Joffre Gorge Lookout |

Notes: Joffre Gorge looked a bit hard for us to walk, so we decided to take a drive to the lookout and see what the gorge was actually like. It was a short but bumpy drive to the lookout. The lookout area had been burnt recently. The walk down to the lookout was very short and offered a easy view right to the bottom of the gorge and the walk which goes to the bottom from the opposite side of the gorge. It was interesting to see people slowly moving along the bottom of the gorge and up the gorge wall to the top. The walk looked as hard as the brochure said it would be. |
