| Disappointment Rock Walk |

Notes: We were heading towards Hyden in search of orchids on the Hyden-Norseman Rd. This road is a great dirt road to travel on as it is a mine road and therefore kept in good condition. Having started late we needed to stop at the best camp we could find and chose Disappointment Rock. In the morning we did the rock walk which was much more interesting than we thought it would be. Following the information signs is the best way to follow the walk as they are both a guide and provide interesting facts about the rock and its environment. We even found some orchids to photograph. |
