Pilliga Scrub Sculpture Walk |

Notes: This is a must-do walk when you visit the Pilliga Scrub. Arriving late in the day we set up our caravan and decided to see what the Pilliga Sculpture walk was all about. We walked in and came across the first couple of sculpture locations and decided that it was getting a bit late to walk further and returned to our caravan. The next day we headed out early as it was going to be a very hot day. Getting to the start of the walk we decided to go via the Dandry Gorge walk first and link back in to the Pilliga Sculpture walk and do the sculptures in reverse order. Walking along the gorge floor, we soon noted that the first 2 sculptures were easily visible and gave us different perspective from the views of the night before. The link into the sculpture walk was seamless and before we realized it we were on top of the last sculpture collection. We headed back along the track to the start photographing and reflecting on the sculptures as we went. |
