Day - 11       Day-2
06-June-2015
Globus:
Today, travel through sagebrush landscape to BRYCE CANYON, a national park with a beauty all its own. Take a leisurely drive with photo stops to capture the bright red, yellow, and pink pillars called "hoodoos." The balance of the day is at leisure and your overnight is at the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. (B,D) S
We  travelled down to Bryce for lunch with only one stop at a lonely roadside petrol station.  It was hot and the petting  zoo attached held little excitement for us, but they did have a Zonkey.  At Bryce we wandered around, had lunch and checked out the local mineral shop; I didn't know rocks could be so expensive.  Lunch time finished, we headed into Bryce Canyon by bus.  Our first stop was at Bryce Point and then on to Inspiration Point.  Unfortunately it started to rain heavily and we all voted to go to the hotel.  After a while the sun shone again and we went out for a walk as we did not have time to catch the free buses that go into the canyon area.  So out the back of our hotel we saw a dirt track heading out into the forest so we took it.  A nice walk with a great view at the end, but we had to rush back for the dinner and show that we had booked.
