Photographed in Queensland - hopefully this year we will find it in
Victoria.
Well, we were lucky and we did find them, in the same reserve as we checked last year. We looked close to where they were found, but not close enough it is now obvious. |

Details (Vic): Flowering: Flowering October to November. Size: Up to 40cm tall, flowers - one, to 60mm long. Location: Occurs in mountain areas of Victoria, in tall wet forests. Endemic, Secure.

Although these photographs are of a wild baptistii, they were not taken in Victoria. We had taken a holiday in Queensland and in a National Park we found this particular colony. Only one disappointment - we had to rush away. We should have went for a couple of weeks more!
