Whole Plant
These are short plants, only a few centimetres high, but flowers are on longer stems.  Lateral sepal free points often touch the ground.

Tripped Labellum
The labellum can trip, sending the labellum back into the hood.  This is part of the pollination process. 
Apart from the pollinators thought to be flies or fungus gnats, the wind and you fingers can cause to labellum to trip.

Habitat
These orchids at least in Victoria grow on hard baked
 stony loams in full sun.
