| We have been to the Mount Field National Park a
few times now and this year we decided that a 3 day walk in the Mount
Field West area would be good. Starting mid morning we had an
reasonable walk to Twilight Tan Hut. Day 2 saw us walking only as
far as Rodway Hut stopping at Newdegate Hut for lunch. Day 3 we
did a long circuit walk via K Col Hut, Newdegate Hut and back to Rodway
Hut before heading back to the car. We did this rather than the
climb up to the top of Mount Field West which would have be up and back
on the same path. Overall it was a great walk and plenty of
screnery which warranted, photographing, along the way. |
